The second in the series on the Norman dynasty, where modern day Norman meets Norma.
Norman is living off the plaudits from his best-selling Writer’s Guidebook and wondering what to do next when his mind is made up for him by fellow writers unable to get off first base.
While researching the dreaded condition known as writer’s block, he discovers a whole dynasty of writers, stretching back through the ages, who suffered from the same complaint.
Prevented from making his findings public, he learns he’s suffering from the same condition and turns in desperation to a therapy group for similarly afflicted writers.
Once he’d got over his initial surprise that the therapist was female and called Norma…he discovered that the group went back thousands of years – indeed, had been attended by all the previous members of the Norman Dynasty – which only added to his frustration.
But what is the therapist up to?
